Two years young, ON Architecture was founded by long time colleagues and friends Troy Owen & Mark Nield. Each Director brings 20 years of experience in the industry. Their collective sector expertise in architecture and interior design is heavily weighted in residential accommodation, across market apartments, retirement living & aged care. Our expertise also covers Child Care, Defence, Health and Commercial sectors.

Prior to co-founding ON Architecture, Mark spent 19 years establishing his career in a large Adelaide Architectural practice. It was here that he gained extensive experience in the Aged Care & Retirement Living sector, as well as significant experience in Defence, Childcare, Health, Office & Training Facilities.

Mark enjoys all aspects of architecture, from early planning & feasibility, through to design, documentation & delivering projects through construction. He strengths lie in problem solving and he is confident in his ability to always find the best design solutions.

Troy is a Registered Architect with 20 years of experience in both the Adelaide and interstate markets. He has delivered projects across a diverse range of sectors including Aged Care, Retirement Living & Multi-Residential. His skills in a design sense are driven by functional & strategic thinking about shaping space, with a balanced sensitivity for cost, program & most importantly client goals.

Design has been an important & innovative part of Troy’s career. He is passionate about making a positive contribution to the community through built form.
